The Town of Gates is a progressive and diverse community with historic homesteads, sports parks, shopping plazas, and locally owned businesses. It’s also home to the Rochester International Airport. Gates Chili School District is located in a western suburb of Rochester, New York, a community situated between Lake Ontario and the Finger Lakes. The District covers a 26 square mile area serving most of the Town of Gates and a large portion of the Town of Chili. The school community is just minutes from downtown Rochester and offers attractions such as professional theaters, museums, and professional sporting events in baseball, hockey, soccer, basketball, and football. #CHILI

The Town of Chili  was established in 1822 from part of the Town of Riga. North Chili was a stop on the Underground Railroad. Chili is home to an annual festival known as the Chil-E Fest which takes place around the Fourth of July. Black Creek Park is one of many parks in Chili where visitors can make use of nature trails that run along the creek.  Demographics~ Population…27,638 Median House Value…$61,481
